The final stage is full of historical monuments. It begins in Louny with the Church of St. Nicholas and its observation tower. The route then continues through Libochovice with its interesting castle and attractive castle park. From Libochovice, cycle route No. 6 will take you to the town of Budyně nad Ohří, where the unique water castle with the Janda Museum is worth a visit. From Budyně, the route continues through Doksany with its monastery and to the fortress town of Terezín. It is known as a sad reminder of World War II, but it is also a unique Baroque fortress with attractive underground tours. The stage ends in the historic town of Litoměřice, where the Ohře River flows into the Elbe and where St. Stephen's Cathedral with its observation tower and the local landmark and symbol, the Kalich Tower, are worth seeing.
The fifth stage of the Ohře Cycle Route is just under 55 km long and can be completed in three to four hours. The route has a favorable elevation profile, with an elevation gain of only 150 meters. The route mainly follows quiet side roads or roads with low traffic. Part of the route is also on a cycle path. However, the section between the villages of Písty and Doksany requires increased caution due to higher traffic frequency.
